Day 21 – Ice Beauty

on January 21, 2012

When the snow completely covers everything, it provides a portrait so mesmerizing you want to capture the beauty and keep it forever.

A plaque on the wall at the local gallery describes how in 1900, a great Canadian painter named Maurice,  held an exhibition in his home, showcasing his winter landscapes.  Not one sold because at the time people thought it odd to have a snow scene in the home.  Thankfully he persevered.
